How to rotate tires

FWD VW: rear tires move forward, fronts cross to the rear (unless they’re directional). Torque the lugs. Or we do it with the oil change.

Tire rotation

Most Jetta/Tiguan/Taos in the U.S. are FWD or 4MOTION with non-directional tires. Pattern: rears go straight to the front, fronts go to the opposite rear. Directional tires stay on the same side. Torque to the spec in the book — not impact-gun forever.

Every oil change is the easy cadence. We rotate on the lift while the oil drains.
